Artist of the Week

On 6/10/2008 Mr Arm was featured as artist of the week on a web broadcasting show named Epic Fu. The SSOA website was one of the main causes. Watch this until about the middle.

The Teslatonic Feline Statisizer

Mr Arm has created this ray gun from found objects and oak. It sits atop a vintage car battery charger for effect.

Ray guns are a staple of the Steampunk community where the likes of Jules Verne shape the creative minds of its more active constituents.

The butt of this gun is aged solid oak which was carved for this project. The findings are recycled brass pieces and the center is a vintage Thor drill.

It remains in the Arm collection.

The Lake Erie Mermaid

This "creature" was created using techniques taught to Mr Arm by the worlds best living creator of odd petrified sea life. The pieces are of local fish and an unknown upper portion. Mr Arm is always looking for someone to learn this craft better with. The process is quite cumbersome and, as is taxidermy, it is better to do with associates than in the dark confines of ones musty basement.

Vintage Taxidermy

Mr Arm is constantly on the lookout of outstanding vintage works of long past taxidermy artists. His re appropriation of them for the Trundle Manor Art Project creates a strange air within the hallowed Parlor. You can find a snarling fox head, a vintage jackalope, two full fox mounts, a racoon head, deer head, and bear head, a infant ostrich, unknown lizard, a full muskrat mount, a crow, squirrel hides, and many many skulls from various animals. Any and all antique taxidermy is welcome and cherished by Mr Arm
